Camera bag for Z6 + 24-70/4

I’m trying to find a camera bag that is as little as you possibly can but still fits Z6 with 24-70/4 attached and one battery that is spare perhaps a smartphone. Intended use is hiking whilst having climbing backpack on my straight back, therefore preferably I might carry such case at front, chest or waist. Weather resistance is welcome although not mandatory. Shoulder bag like Lowepro Nova 140 AW is okay t , perhaps. I’d like to know you ideas.

We repurposed a Tenba BYOB 7 for exactly that except it allows me personally to pop it in other bags as required. Arguably the 7 is a bit snug while the 9 will be better but it does work.

That is my suggestion t . And on occasion even just a Tenba wrap based on what’s in your regular backpack. All of the time we would have the camera away on a band anyhow.

I have to carry camera case at front side, perhaps not within the climbing backpack. Is the fact that feasible using this thing? Camera on a band is go for serious no climbing.

I came across that a mixture of two products from Cotton Carrier and Peak Design is most effective for me personally once I hike. Fundamentally, a CottonCarrier was bought by me Skout and modified it by the addition of a PeakDesign Capture Clip.

Cotton Carrier Skout modified with addition of Peak Design Capture Clip

Although the Skout works okay, the design permits the digital camera to swivel freely whenever clipped-in – I prefer my digital camera stationary and not swinging around as I hike. Worn without a daypack, it l ks like this
